  1. Already Better than the Pixel Buds 2. So, after gawking at my Google News for months, I thoroughly read reviews and pre-ordered a pair of the new Pixel Buds A-Series. Fast forward to yesterday when they came in the mail.

First off, you can tell that they are cheap because they are noticibly lighter then my old Pixel Buds 2 were. The interior of the case is a very glossy white, which makes them look more expensive despite what I just said.

I am very glad they came with 3 different eartip sizes, I put the large ones on right away and they actually fit in my ears very comfortably and don’t ever even feel close to falling out.

The microphone works way better than in the Buds 2 because so far whenever I say “Hey Google” they respond most of the time and if they don’t, tapping on the earbud works great as well. I had issues with both those things on the Buds 2, so I am very pleased that was improved upon. I was talking on the phone while walking this morning and they worked quite well and both me and the other person heard each other clearly.

The thing I had a ton of aggravation with the Buds 2 was the constant cutouts and connection issues (usually when walking out of a building) that made it so that the only way I could use them was with one earbud only. With the new Pixel Buds A, that problem is fixed and I am very excited about that.

The Google Pixel Buds 2 had one sensor in one earbud that picked up the Bluetooth connection and relayed it to the other bud, which is why they were so bad. The new Pixel Buds A-Series have a sensor in each individual earbud that connects directly with that phone itself. This alone makes the A-Series way better than the Buds 2 in my opinion.

The sound does occasionally cutout for a second or two when I stop at a traffic light around other cars, but it is rare and so infrequent and brief that it’s not even an issue, I’d say it’s no different than any other Bluetooth earbuds you can buy. I also know that my phone only has Bluetooth 4.2 instead of 5.0, which is what the Pixel Buds A uses, so that’s what I attribute that to.

I found the adaptive sound feature counterproductive though, the first walk I took with them, that sound would go from blaringly loud to too quiet every few seconds, so I just disabled this feature.

I cannot yet comment on the battery life because this is only the second day I’ve had them, but I really love these new Pixel Buds A and I say if you need a quality pair off earbuds, go for it.

They sound really good and are quite compact. Love them!

    Pros:
They feel very light in my ears. So light I almost forget I have them in!!
The google voice assistant is so awesome
The sound is really good, I immediately turned on the “bass boost” in the settings.
The case is small and very smooth so felt fine in my pants pocket
Bluetooth worked fine on my phone, tablet and laptop. Switching was easy.

    Cons:
I miss the volume controls on the earbuds (the previous model had them) but I can use the phone volume controls or use the google assistant.

  3. You have to try them. Love them. Very clear, loud, comfortable in ear. My husband bought a pair too. Small enough to fit in my pocket

  4. These are definitely the ones! Quite possibly the best earbuds I’ve had in a very long time. Here’s a bit of background on me – I’m a medical student, so I spend a substantial amount of time studying. If I’m not studying, I’m likely working out. In the last 2 years, I have tried at least 6 different bluetooth earbuds and headphones for my various activities. I have very small ears, so it’s difficult to find buds that will fit comfortably in my small ears for hours on end (sometimes my study sessions will go 6 hours in a sitting), and stay inside my ears without me constantly having to push them back in. I have tried all the major brands (Samsung, Anker, Sony, Bose). I wasn’t dead set on my earbuds having active noise cancellation because I have the Bose headphones for that. My goal was to find comfortable fitting earbuds that I did not have to keep babysitting. After trying out every single Samsung option (I have a Galaxy S22), I decided to give the Google Pixel buds a try. I am very pleased with the fit – they are comfortable and not too big in my ear (I dislike the style of buds that protrude out of the ear), they also have a very small and useful wing tip that helps stabilize the position while inside your ear. I wore them while studying (4 hour session), gave it a quick 15-minute charge, and wore them for another 2.5 hours as I ran the treadmill, did burpees, and lifted weights. The entire time, I did not adjust them at all, and they stayed snuggly inside my ear. Few controls through the app, including bass boost and other equalizer components. Good sound quality, nice feel to the case, and not too sensitive to touch controls. The most recent Samsung buds I tried were awful for my ears despite all the positive reviews. Of course, everyone’s ears are shaped differently, but they are hands down the best buds I have come across in the past 2-3 years.

  5. Tough decision made. I’ve done my due diligence researching if the Pixel Buds Pro would be well worth it, specially in conjunction with the Pixel 7 and I’m glad that I made the right choice! The features and positive reviews outweigh the price and negative reviews. (silicone case bought separately)

  6. excellent sound. they have great sound. and they also make great hands free headset the mic is great

  7. didnt end up being what i needed. i couldnt get certian features i bought them for working. turned out not really worth it. if youre mainly just listening to music then this is all very extra for nothing. they were fine. short battery life. i found a pair of jlabs for way less that ive only ever charged once and they still say 100% battery. that was months ago.

  8. Im disappointed. I ordered pods and between walmart and they delivery service someone stole my son’s Christmas gift and i couldn’t get a replacement or refund because it was signed… im a hard working mom of soon to be 4 kids and dont appreciate being taken from my kids i want justice for this someone needs to held accountable for they actions i was wrongfully accused of stealing from walmart basically and robbed out of money this is really sad and unfair and unfortunate situation the picture i uploaded is exactly what i signed for on God and my kids boxes and bubble wrap

  9. Great. Great value
    Great product
It works better than the 250 apple ones

  10. Dishonest Delivery Drivers. Be careful ordering from this third party vendor! I had to wasted extra time contacitng Walmart who had to then contact that vendor because they marked my earbuds as delivered and hadn’t delivered them. Then, after my complaint and support from Walmart, the company delivered them the next night to the WRONG HOUSE!!! Thankfully that neighbor was willing to find the right address and drive them to us. Don’t buy from this company, and be careful of Walmart drivers too! They’ve also marked packages as delivered and I’ve never received them.

  11. Google is amazing. I’ve had these buds for two years. I have tried other brands and this brand is great. I only purchased this brand because I have a Google Pixel phone. I was nervous to invest because they were so new when they came out. I don’t regret this purchase and I love all Google products. These buds sync fast to whatever I ask it to, they stay in my ear when I run, and they charge fast! I highly recommend this product.

  12. Best earbuds. The sound quality of the pixel buds is amazing. They are very comfy I can wear them all day. The battery life is good, it can last me 6 hours. I love the design of it.

  13. Came sealed but destroyed. Be careful when buying these from a location or onlinr! When I got them they were factory sealed but after opening they were destroyed! Somehow the buds and case were dented, had what looked to be mud or dirt on them, and wouldnt even power on. The store only allowed the return because I had bought less then 5 minutes before. If you buy please be careful and look them over before leaving with them

  14. Never received order. Never received order.

  15. received on time as a gift. I made a review previously on information from tracking package that was incorrect by USPS. The product arrived in perfect timing for a gift. I want to apologize for my first review.

  16. satisfied on some normal level. They sound good and work seamlessly with the Pixel 9 Pro. The fit is kind of odd to figure out at first but its fine once you do. The swipe and press functions perform better than Airpods. They are hard to get out of the case in my opinion but they don’t stay in much anyway. The case feels nice and sturdy.

  17. Wrong product shipped. They sent the wrong product. This was supposed to be a google pixel buds pro. But instead they sent a Samsung bud. Now i have to figure out how to send this back and if i can get the correct product.

  18. sent the completely wrong item ordered a google pixel bud pro right earbud replacement and they sent me a samsung galaxy bud for the right ear. i guess at least they got the right side

  19. Good choice! Comfortable, quality feel to them. They come with different size ear pieces to customize your fit. The sound quality is pretty good, I didn’t expect earbuds to sound this clear.

  20. Received a Samsung Galaxy Pro Bud. Was sent a different product. They sent a Samsung Galaxy Pro Bud.

  21. Open boxed item delivered as new. Used / Open Item Delivered. Was looking forward to use this but am extremely disappointed with the delivery. An open boxed item was delivered as ‘new’. Returning right away. Have lost confidence in Walmart delivering this product

  22. Not good. I expected more for the price. Very uncomfortable; they actually were painful to keep in longer than 20 minutes. I thought maybe I’d get use to them but after an hour, my ears HURT. Could not break them in. Tried different sizes of the rubber pieces, still painful. The ANC was nice, but honestly I was hoping for a better experience. The sound quality was not good, very low. The pods were also heavy. It felt like magnets in my ears. I returned them.

  23. Too big. These buds are huge! It doesn’t matter what size tip I use because the buds themselves are just too big. They won’t stay in my ears no matter what I do.
I received these for free with my Pixel. I had wanted the charger, but they were out of stock. Now I have buds that are completely useless.

  24. Everything but the battery. Fitting is fine, connection is quick. Noise cancellation are a touch better than my Sony XM1’s and 100x smaller. The case gets scratches and stains easily being matte.

Four hour battery life on the most minimally draining settings is a deal breaker for me and I regret buying them.
